Visual Texture and life's emotional edge are the biggest influences in my art. I enjoy movement, touch and contrast. Dance, music and theories of thought will motivate and spawn an entire series of new ideas. Paintings, fabrics, sculptures and landscapes can move me to tears of sadness and of joy. It is the ability to emotionally embrace all that is possible combined with all that is lost that drives me to create.
